Rubberwood Furniture
Probably the most misunderstood species of wood in the furniture
industry, Rubberwood is the common name for the timber of Hevea
brasiliensis.
Native to the Amazon region of South America, the great rubber
plantations of Malaysia were originally started by an Englishman
Henry Wickham in the 19th century.
